Exercise stress Echo Cardiogram

An echo is performed before and after maximum exercise either on a treadmill or bicycle.

Changes in the function of the heart can be assessed by the echo. This can help to correlate the changes seen on the ECG with changes in the movement of the left ventricle seen on echo.
